About the Bimi-Lalala brand

Shizuoka Prefecture has been promoting "gastronomy tourism" throughout the prefecture since fiscal year 4, creating trips centered around the "charms rooted in the land" such as local food culture, producers, and climate.

To promote this initiative, a workshop was held, bringing together stakeholders from a wide range of fields, including producers, chefs, tourism operators, and local government officials from within the prefecture, to share the appeal and value of food and travel that is unique to Shizuoka.
At the workshop, participants discussed how to best express the diverse ingredients and food culture nurtured by Shizuoka's natural environment and history, and how to best present this to tourists from outside the prefecture and overseas.

Through these discussions, the gastronomy tourism promotion brand "Omi-lalala" was born.

The name embodies the joy of traveling around Shizuoka, humming along to its delicious delicacies, and the desire to convey to visitors, "It's delicious, isn't it, isn't it, isn't it?" by combining the local dialect "-ra" (-desho) with the idea of conveying this to visitors.
