Area Guide: Delicious Food and Sightseeing Model Courses
Ito
Jogasaki and Fisherman's Meals

Ito City, located at the easternmost tip of the prefecture, is a scenic region with 44.7% of the city area designated as the "Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park Zone." Blessed with a warm climate all year round and with easy access from the Tokyo metropolitan area, it attracts many visitors. It is also part of the UNESCO Global Geopark, and is dotted with geospots such as Mt. Omuroyama and Jogasaki Coast. Historical buildings, including the Tokaikan Building, which retains the atmosphere of the early Showa period, are scattered throughout the city, allowing you to feel the breath of history. You can also enjoy fresh seafood and mountain produce nurtured by the abundant nature, making it a fascinating place where you will make new discoveries every time you visit.

Fisherman's Tsukemono Gozen is a fisherman's meal that inherits the food culture of the fishing town of Ito. It is a dish that fishermen used to eat on board their boats, and is a local dish that represents the region. It is a hearty dish with 450 grams of fresh tuna, horse mackerel, squid, salmon, and salmon roe, and is also delicious when mixed with a soft-boiled egg. You can fully enjoy the seafood that is unique to Ito.

We offer a wide variety of dishes that allow you to fully enjoy the seafood of Ito, including our signature dish, the Fisherman's Pickled Rice Bowl, which is both impressive and satisfying in volume. We aim to be a place that will provide a refreshing break from your travels, and we also operate the Izu Kogen Beer Brewery, a drop-in hot spring, and a specialty sweets shop. Our motto is "Souvenir stories for our customers!" and we look forward to welcoming you.
