Sawayaka Tours (National Travel Service Station Co., Ltd.) is recruiting participants for a monitor tour of the Shizuoka Gastronomy Tour, "Eating Suruga, Traveling with Strawberry Producers" on Saturday, December 12th.
◆Stories that can only be heard from producers involved in strawberry cultivation who are knowledgeable about local history, such as the history leading up to Kuno Ishigaki strawberry cultivation and the story of the strawberries that are said to have been brought there by the chief priest of Kunozan Toshogu Shrine.
◆Recreate strawberries from 100 years ago and compare them with modern strawberries.
◆Learn more about the secrets of the terrain known as a power spot, Kunozan Toshogu Shrine.
◆At Restaurant Cuomo at Hotel Quest Shimizu, you can enjoy healthy and gourmet "Suruga Bay Recipes" made with produce from local farmers and Suruga Bay.
The calorie content is equivalent to one plate of pasta! Enjoy Shizuoka cuisine prepared by Medichef Aoki.
